Yixin Chen

About Me

I'm a PhD student advised by Prof. Song-Chun Zhu in Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning, and Autonomy (VCLA) in the Department of Statistics at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Currently I'm visiting Perceiving Systems, Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, supervised by Prof. Michael Black and Dr. Dimitrios Tzionas. My research interests focus on computer vision and cognition, particularly in the areas of scene understanding, human-object interaction and social cue understanding. My goal is to help machines reach human-like understanding from visual input.

Previously, I received a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCLA.
